The next phase of Ashmere, the vibrant new community set within Ebbsfleet, is moving forward with Reserved Matters approval for 216 new homes. This approval by Ebbsfleet Development Corporation’s Planning Committee marks a meaningful step in continuing the delivery of high-quality, sustainable homes in Ebbsfleet.
Ashmere is a new landmark address offering a collection of new homes located within the picturesque white cliffs of Ebbsfleet. Phase 3 of the development will feature a mix of property types to suit a diverse range of residents, all designed with sustainability, quality and modern living in mind. The proposed development comprises a mix of apartments and houses, with 97 one, two and three bed apartments, and 119 two, three and four bed houses. 25% of homes will be Affordable Housing; of these affordable units, 79.6% are to be shared ownership and 20.4% affordable rent.
Ashmere is a key neighbourhood within the Ebbsfleet Garden City scheme, contributing to the Corporation’s ambition to deliver up to 15,000 new homes alongside essential infrastructure, green spaces and community amenities. Ashmere is situated amongst ample green space, pedestrian friendly routes, and high-quality public realm. As the development progresses, Ashmere Phase 3 will play a crucial role in shaping a thriving and inclusive community.
