Location: Blue Lake is accessed from the A226 Thames Way, c 0.5 miles from Ebbsfleet International Station (c 10 minute walk). The North Kent railway line runs at high level along the embankment to the northeast of the lake, the A226 runs to the southwest and at the east, Springhead Road connects Springhead with Northfleet.
Description: Blue Lake is a former chalk pit extending to c 30 acres. It is a single expanse of water, believed to have depths to 14m. There are a number of fishing swims which have not been in use for some time andrequire works to bring them up to standard. Access to the lake is through two locked gates and parking is available to the north of the lake for approx. 10 vehicles.
