Ebbsfleet Public Art Strategy

UP Projects are working on a public art strategy for Ebbsfleet, the first garden city in 100 years currently under development across 2,500 acres of brownfield land on the Kent Thames riverside.

Championed by the Government and Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, the scheme will see a network of interconnected neighbourhoods emerge around seven new city parks alongside embedded community and cultural facilities. Emphasis is being placed on quality design, sustainable connections, nature, health and wellbeing.

The part strategy will support our ambitious placemaking vision by developing a framework for public art commissioning across the scheme that will support community engagement and explore themes relating to nature, wellbeing and the positive impact creativity can have when embedded into our everyday lives.
